About Me

About Me

My name is Roberto Corrò and I am a photographer taking the majority of my photos during my travels around the world. I prefer destinations "off the beaten track" because these places usually offer great adventure and unique photographic opportunities. My favourite continent is Africa. This continent is enormous and has so much to offer.

To me wildlife photography is the most interesting form of photography because of the inherent unpredictability: You might only have a few seconds to take a photo, and often the conditions under which a photo is taken are very difficult.

My aim is to photograph subjects as authentically as possible and to do a minimum amount of post-processing. I do not like arranged and over-processed photos.

What keeps me interested in photography is that it is a continuous learning process. Being a great photographer requires technical proficiency but also creativity. The quality of images can always be improved and there are plenty of new areas to explore.

Feel free to browse my galleries. And please do visit again soon - I will continuously add more photos to this site.
